United Arab Emirates
The United Arab Emirates is a federation of seven emirates notable for their double identity. Dubai and Abu Dhabi are incredibly modern and yet the mentality remains very conservative. It is a surprising characteristic but has not slowed down the development of extravagant real estate projects. The emirates of Sharjah, Ajman, Umm al-Qaiwain, Ras al-Khaima and Fujairah are not well-known around the world unlike Dubai and the capital, Abu Dhabi, which are renowned for their luxury lifestyle. The prestigious property market in these areas is very large thanks to the upscale apartments located in the high residential towers. However it is also possible to find contemporary villas with all amenities including swimming pool, garage, gym and stunning sea views. The two cities are heaven for shopping fans and offer bustling commercial centres full of designer names. Dubai is home to the tallest tower in the world which stands at 828m and boasts super-luxury homes while Abu Dhabi invests in culture with the construction of the gigantic Louvre Abu Dhabi, conceived by French architect Jean Nouvel.
